ABOUT THE STUDIO

Founded by Jennifer Brown, A Leisure Sport approaches design as both art and inquiry, guided by a research-driven and holistic ethos. With a background in Sculpture and a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis, Jennifer developed a deep fluency in material expression and spatial composition. Nearly a decade in the New York art world sharpened her instinct for curation and narrative, deepening her appreciation for the interplay of objects and environments before transitioning her focus to interiors and design.

With over eight years of experience shaping high-end residential and commercial interiors, she worked concurrently as Lead Designer for Alex P. White Studio while collaborating with esteemed firms on projects between New York, Los Angeles, and across the US. Her work reflects a balance of rigor and experimentation. A Leisure Sport partners on projects ranging from full-service interiors to custom furniture and creative direction, crafting spaces that are intelligent, layered, and seamlessly functional.
